Counting Cars is the American Reality Show produced by Lettfield Pictures and premiered on the History Channel. The series is a spinoff series of Pawn Stars and features Danny Koker who appeared as an expert in Pawn Stars. Danny is the owner of an automobile restoration and customization company and the series follows him along with his team in various automobile restorative missions. The series initially premiered on 13 August, 2012.
The series has also featured guest appearances by Rick,Corey and Richard Bejamin Harrison and Austin ‘Chumlee’ Russell of Pawn Stars. Rob Zombie has also featured on the show. Members of the heavy metal band Judas Priests also visit Danny’s shop. Danny is seen gifting Richie Faulkner a personalized Gibson Les Paul.
The show is executively produced by Lettfield producers Brent Montgomery, David George, and Shawn Witt, Simon Thomas, Jonathan Wyche and Sean Moran.
The series has been filmed in Nevada, Les Vegas where daily activities of the Count’s Kustoms (Danny’s custom automobile shop) are recorded from the beginning of finding to the fixing of automobile problems. Koker is also found documenting the conflict amongst cast members.
Counting Cars Ratings, Reviews And Renewal
The fifth season of the series featured on the History Network on 16 February, 2016. It included 14 episodes that concluded on 5 April, 2016. This is third spin-off of Pawn Stars and is very similar to the original series titled American Restoration.
The first season of the show premiered on 13, August, 2013 and concluded on 25 September, 2012 and consisted of 13 episodes. The second season began on 9 April 2013 and had a group of 26 episodes that lasted till 30 July, 2013. The third season got aired on 7 January 2014 and with a set of 26 episodes, it concluded on 26 August, 2014. The fourth season had whopping 35 episodes and lasted from February 24, 2015.
The show received an average score of 7.4 out of 10 for the fifth series on IMDb and is constantly getting good viewership records. The sixth season for the series is scheduled to start from 5 July, 2016 (9 pm ET/PT). The series is scheduled to have 14 half-hourly episodes featuring Danny Koker, the ‘Count’ and his team fix interesting new projects.
